College of Law is one of the academic units in DDU. It was established as faculty of law in 2001 E.C admitting 106 students in the regular program. Since its official establishment it has been operating with mission of producing competent legal professionals, conducting legal research that solve societal problems and providing community services.
The College has contributed more than 460 qualified young
professionals to the justice sector of the country with its seven round graduations
in regular program and three batch extension programs. Currently, the College
is looking forward to excel in academic and research activities, community
services and planning to create connection that helps to deliver consultancy
services. Facilitating students’ moot court participation, inter-batch,
national and international, that enhances the practical skills of the students
is also another target of the College’s academic works.
