Dire Dawa University and University of Urbino, Italy, signed partnership agreement to work together on areas of joint interest mainly focusing on:

1)  set up a framework for collaboration in joint research projects involving 

a)  visiting researchers, teaching staff and other personnel from their institutions;

b)  visiting young researchers enrolled in post-graduate programmes;

c)  the exchange of scientific materials;

d)  the organization and running of workshops, conferences, seminars, continuing education and training programmes, etc. etc.;

2)  Collaboration in educational programmes for university students

3)  Joint participation in:

a)  programmes promoted by the European Commission or by other institutions or foundations;

b)  the coordination of proposals aimed at acquiring financial resources for the setting up of new facilities and for the development of projects involving research and/or training and education.
