Department of Statistics at Dire Dawa University was established
in the year 2008/09 G.C. under the former Faculty of Natural and Computational
Sciences or currently under Collage of Natural and Computational Sciences. The
department is moving forward in achieving its objectives of promoting
statistical education, providing statistical trainings, research and community
service tasks. Currently, the department offers an undergraduate degree in
Statistics. The department is producing high level of competent professionals
by the dedication and devotion of the committed staff members.
