Dire Dawa University held a partnership discussion with the University of Melbourne in Australia. The team from both universities discussed the potential to jointly engage in academic and research activities where the professors from Melbourne University can take part in the supervision of students and deliver seminars regularly. Additionally joint projects focusing on Energy broadly and Geothermal energy specifically were agreed up on as potential area of collaboration. The discussion included Department of Geology, School of Electrical Engineering, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, School of Mechanical Engineering, Center of Energy, Center of Business and Technology Incubation.
