A consortium of ten universities led by Dire Dawa University won 379,348 Euro European Union project grant. The consortium included four universities from Ethiopia, three universities from Germany, Italy and Austria, and university of Djibouti. The project whose goal is to empower female students engagement in the makerspace of the university’s incubation center, will speed up the transformation of the university into an Applied Science University.
