Dire Dawa University held a partnership expansion discussion with Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
The discussion focused on the strength of Heilbronn University as an Applied Science University and how the collaboration could take place and complement the transformation of Dire Dawa University to an ASU. Prof. Tomas Benz stated that the two institutions could engage on staff and student exchange programs and joint projects mainly focusing on Engineering programs. It is to be noted that the two universities have currently active joint project and this helps to expand the current collaboration to a broader scope. In a zoom call discussion involving the top leadership, Strategic Partnership and Internationalization Director and project coordinator, agreement was established on specifics of the collaboration and Memorandum of Understanding will be signed shortly during the Heilbronn University’s delegate visit to Dire Dawa University.
