The hybrid Kick-off Meeting which took place on December 19, 2024, at Kotobe University of Education, brought together all partner institutions. Representatives presented overviews of their organizations and outlined their contributions to this transformative initiative. The discussions emphasized the effective implementation of project tasks and deliverables.

This collaborative project includes three European universities(German and Italian) and six Ethiopian Universities of Applied Sciences, working together to drive innovation in higher education.

As part of its responsibilities, Dire Dawa University will work together with other project partners in the establishment of MaDE-Technology Center in DDU, pilot the newly developed VR/AR/simulation toolboxes, and organizing Training of Trainers (ToT) programs for the target groups.
