Dire Dawa University Hosts U.S. Embassy team for eLibrary USA Information Session

Dire Dawa University, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, successfully hosted an information session on eLibrary USA, the U.S. State Department’s premier digital library platform. The half-day session was organized through the university’s Office of Strategic Partnership and Research Internationalization and targeted the academic community—particularly faculty and graduate students.

The visiting delegation from the U.S. Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section was led by Mr. Ryan Bradeen, Public Diplomacy Officer. In his opening remarks, Mr. Bradeen emphasized the significance of the Embassy’s ongoing support to Dire Dawa University and underscored the potential of eLibrary USA to support the institution’s goals in improving the quality and accessibility of academic and research outputs.
