Dire Dawa University Hosts Panel Discussion on Deep Technological Transformation

The panel discussion held under the theme “End of Business as Usual: Reframing Strategy in an Era of Deep Technological Transformation” was successfully conducted, bringing together academic leaders, industry experts, staff, and students for a meaningful exchange of ideas.

The session was officially opened by Dr. Megersa Kasim, Academic Vice President, who underscored that the future will be shaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and data-driven innovation. “Our commitment remains firm,” he stated, “we are dedicated to producing graduates who are problem-solvers capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly shifting technological landscape.”

The panelists, Dr. Nesredin and Dr. Mikre Fekadu, highlighted the importance of embracing digital tools to remain competitive in an increasingly globalized economy.
