Canadian Embassy Delegation Visits Dire Dawa University

Dire Dawa University had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Embassy of Canada, led by Senior Commissioner Mr. Marc-André Savage. The visit focused on strengthening the ongoing partnerships between the university and Canadian counterparts.

During the meeting, the University President Dr. Ubah Adem presented key ongoing collaboration initiatives and highlighted their impact the academic and research activities and in advancing DDU’s Vision 2030. Mr. Marc-André reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting Dire Dawa University’s internationalization efforts and other strategic areas.

The delegation also toured university facilities and visited the Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone, gaining a broader perspective on the region’s development opportunities.
