Summer Coding Training Concludes with Student Project Showcase and Certification Ceremony
The closing ceremony of the one-month summer
coding training program took place with the participation of 27 students
representing four high schools in Dire Dawa. The event marked the successful
completion and presentation of six innovative projects three developed under
the School of Computing and three under the College of Electrical and Computer
Engineering.
All participating students and their
respective teacher were awarded certificates in recognition of their efforts
and accomplishments throughout the training.
The ceremony was attended by invited guests
and representatives from key partner institutions, including the Dire Dawa
Administration’s Science and Technology Bureau, Education Bureau, and Labor and
Skills Bureau, alongside Gand Group PLC. School officials from St. Mary’s High
School, Sabian High School, Abun Gorgorious High School, and Bethel High School
were also present, further highlighting the collaborative spirit and
educational impact of the program.
