International Partnership Alert!

Dire Dawa University and Carleton University (Canada) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions!

The new partnership will open doors for:

✨ Faculty and student exchange programs

     Joint academic and research projects

    Collaborative grant applications

    Study abroad opportunities

    Shared industrial and laboratory placements

    Participation in seminars, conferences, and best-practice exchanges

The MoU was signed following sustained engagement between both universities’ international offices and leadership teams. Representing Dire Dawa University were Dr. Ubah Adem, President, and Carleton University was represented by Prof. Rafik Goubran Vice-president of Carelton University. 

This collaboration marks a significant step toward global academic excellence — and implementation of key activities is set to begin immediately!
