Dire Dawa University Explores New Areas of Collaboration with Universities in Italy and Austria
As part of efforts to broaden the scope of its existing international partnerships, Dire Dawa University hosted a delegation of professors from Bolzano University (Italy) and Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria) for a strategic discussion with academic staff from the Institute of Technology.
During the session, the delegates presented a range of potential areas for deepening collaboration with staff members from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and the School of Computing.
The discussions concluded with the identification of concrete areas for joint engagement, including:
- Designing short-term technical training programs
- Establishing student and staff mobility schemes between the institutions
- Developing joint research projects on the areas identified during the discussion
- Setting a clear list of implementation
