The U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ervin Massinga, paid an official visit to Dire Dawa University, underscoring the growing partnership between universities in the United States and Ethiopia’s higher education institutions.

Dr. Ubah Adem, President of Dire Dawa University, warmly welcomed the Ambassador and expressed her appreciation for the visit. She briefed the U.S. Embassy delegation on the university’s priority areas, ongoing initiatives, and potential fields of collaboration. Dr. Ubah also highlighted projects in which the university is seeking international partners, reaffirming the institution’s readiness to engage globally to enhance academic quality and contribute to national development goals.
