Dire Dawa University Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Clean Cooking Alliance and SNV Ethiopia, is hosting a national conference under the theme “Clean Energy and Sustainable Clean Cooking Solutions.”

The morning session featured opening remarks from the University President, Dr. Ubah Adem, Scientific Directors Dr. Girma Beka, and Mr. Tewdros Berihun, Manager of SNV Ethiopia.

A key highlight of the session was the presentation of the National Clean Cooking Roadmap by Mr. Temesgen Tefera, Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Water and Energy. 

The session concluded with a second keynote address by Dr. Addisu Bekele, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU),
